Plan is on the paper, in this case “on the blog” what’s next, I told myself. I need to take a long term view, right? This project is close to my heart, and I wish to continue this this charitable work for rest of my life! I think, I am taking this long term view a bit too seriously….may be something like this guy in this picture.
On a serious note, I do need to think about my charity logo, how do I generate awareness and raise funds…and last but not least register a charity with “HM Revenue and Customs”. One thing at a time, and let’s start with a logo.
Logo: A Logo, a symbol or an image adopted by an organisation which can communicate it’s purpose. For our charity we need something which can communicate our message very clearly. Whenever I think about company logo, I am drawn to Apple, and why not? It’s really smart, minimalist, sexy, modern, classy, powerful….and last but not least it is a “Logo” of the most successful brand in the world. Look at it, shiny and simple! This is also a logo of my, and many other people’s favorite brand.
Logo helps you to communicate your message, sounds good and yet i know that it can be a costly affair. At the moment, all my funds are devoted to sourcing foods for the kids. I look up some ideas, review charity logos on the net. I happen to remember that friend of mine used “Fiverr” to get her IT work done for a “Five Dollar”. It sounds like a “too good to be true” scam. Guess what, it’s not, and you know here are the reasons why this is not a scam.
- You pay money up front, but they don’t get paid to the worker till you approve your order.
- All jobs by default are $5 (unless you want extra things), you of course pay a small commission fees 50 cent.
- You have an opportunity to review worker’s background, and feedback before placing your order
- You can communicate with the work, through the site and all communications are tracked
- Once you place your order, you are given an estimated delivery date for your work
- Once they send you their work, you can request modification
It sounds really easy, and much to my surprise registering on the site was super easy. This site is plugged in with “PayPal”, so if you are “PayPal” customers you don’t need to input your bank details, or credit card etc., saving you hassle and time. I register, and off I go. I select my worker, here is his profile: https://www.fiverr.com/wyattlance. I am pleased with his work…check it out and let us know what do you think?
Last job of the week, more planning next week. I am off to enjoy my Valentine weekend…what have you got in store for valentine?
Stay safe, and enjoy the Valentine weekend!! Happy Sharing! Happy Serving 🙂
